FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What should I expect?
Students prepare for events through research, labs, practice tests, design work, construction, testing, and revision. Nearly every event is completed with a partner. Team members are expected to attend practices, communicate with coaches, meet deadlines, care for equipment, and contribute to the full team.
Do I need to be an expert?
No. Students join to learn, and event coaches help them build knowledge throughout the season.
Do I need to build something?
Not necessarily. Events include tests, laboratory investigations, coding, research, experimental design, and engineering builds.
Can I participate in other activities?
Often, yes. Students should discuss scheduling conflicts early with team coaches.
